all it takes is just 1-2 secs to turn away from your kids, the next moment he/she disappeared!

no joke! that really got me SO worried this evening...

parent in laws took leave today, brought us shopping at suntec. it's an exciting and happy moment whenever we're out shopping, ian loves it, i love it too.

we went to carrefour, mother in law went out of carrefour for a while, father in law carries nathan, and for that moment, there're so many toys there and i got carried away...i just turn to another side to look for some toys for ian, for his christmas present. then when i turned back, ian disappeared.

my heart dropped ok...i've been running frantically, calling him and no response...so many toys staking up high and ian is so short, i searched all toy sections, i couldn't find him! all i'm thinking is "oh God, please! oh God, please let me find ian, pleaseeee". i can't imagine losing him...i was about to cry...parent in laws were searching for him too...

then father in law found him, the moment i saw father in law's expression, i know he found ian!!! i ran and hugged ian. he's at the cashier counter...thank God he didn't run out of the shop, i thanked God that he's safe! i thanked God for protecting my son...and i tell myself, never again....get carried away by other things anymore...can't afford to make this kind of mistake anymore! no more!

my mom in law just told me, many kids got lost and took away by strangers in carrefour. they took the kids to one corner or toilet, shave their hair and change their clothes, so that the parents won't be able to recognise them...it's scary and it's enough to scare the hell out of me.

thank God for His protection and i must be responsible as a parent too. told jem about it, and is a very good and scary lesson learnt for me...with no price to pay. ian is sleeping beside me now, looking at him, touching him, i thank God he's here with me.

thank God!
