Toilet trained

During the confinement month, 3 boys kena stomach flu. Jon the worst and because he's still on diaper and keep having diarrhea, he ended up having a real bad diaper rash, we have to clean/wash his buttock after each poo and yet he was so scared to let us wash, painful!!!

I have been wanting to toilet trained him during my pregnancy, thinking that I won't have time to train him once Hannah is born. But am just not ready. I told God my concerns that Jon may still not be toilet trained when he attends kindy next year :(

But during the stomach flu period, I felt ready all the sudden. Told him not to wear diaper, explain to him airing his buttock will recover faster and i assured him the pain will be gone if he go diaperless. He listened.

In 2 days, only 3 accidents and he can tell us he wants to poo and pee (oh well, actually he uses the same word 'boot boot' whenever he wants to pee or poo) and even nap without diaper. Wow! That's fast! Faster than his brothers, coz I trained the older ones stage by stage. 1. Poo 2. Pee 3. Nap without diaper. Then slowly move on to diaperless when going out and lastly diaperless at night.

Can save on diapers but which also means gonna take longer to clear his diaper stocks as we still have a few more in the storeroom :p.

Blessing in disguise. Stomach flu is no fun but no complaints...God answered my prayers.

#4 Confinement Experience

it's been 1.5 weeks since confinement aunty left. i feel as though she has left long ago. life has been extra busy but i thank God that Hannah is an easy girl to take care.

i had a different experience in this confinement period. oh...a...luxury one i would say :P

my mom in law once asked me "Connie, do you want 'urut'?"
my confinement aunty added in "you should have it, that massage help to push your womb back into proper place and help dispel water retention"
i've been thinking, why didn't i do in my last 3 pregnancies...
1. i doubt of its effectiveness
2. i was breastfeeding and baby wants it anytime, i'll have lots of interrupted massage when baby wants milk
3. am afraid of ticklish

but my confinement aunty said "don't worry, you should take care of your body more, baby i'll take care, just go for it"

then i sourced for recommendation. checked out forums, asking contacts from jem's friend...etc.
and that was it, i had my 1st ever massage experience, 2 hours each session and i had 5. i enjoyed it and it's nice to talk to people while massaging...

Then how about the main 3 concerns?
1. I did see my tummy flatten (though not completely) after my first session.
2. I nurse Hannah while lying down and still have my massage at the same time
3. I hold my bolster tight and covered my face when comes to that part.

one day, my mom in law and confinement aunty were chatting. then aunty showed us her photo when she put on makeup (she looks good). and she said 'because i'm working as confinement nanny, i have to wear something comfortably, but when i'm not working, i'll make myself look nice. it's important for woman to look healthy and good than to look haggard and wear beggy clothes (i was wearing one...:P). as we get older, we must take care of our face even more"

first, the body, now face.

to cut long story short, i sourced for home facial. i remembered joyce kept telling me about her facial lady, has good skills and can do at people's home, and we can split transport charges if mom in law, myself and her do together. and there you go, thanks to joyce, i had my first facial at home, it was great!

it is also my most expensive confinement too, confinement aunty is my mom's friend, my mom told her to make sure i am well rested and eat well. so 天天大鱼大肉, all are expensive and best part of the meat. she cooks well. thanks to my mom. everybody who visited me said i look good coz i have more 'meat', look radiant and of course well rested (kind of). i still running around the house doing this and that till my confinement aunty have to constantly remind me 'you should rest' and i listened to her.

through the massage lady, she introduced me one of her customers, mother of 4 kiddos, no helper, hubby travels a lot and.....homeschooling some more. my massage lady is a muslim, and she said 'you must get to know her, she always calm, she has verses that help to keep her calm, her kids are all well-behaved, she doesn't yell at her kids and she's a 'practised christian' (oooo, Godly woman :))...so i also make new friend, introducing myself thru sms and we have been communicating thru sms since then.

massage and facial lady...one thing in common. they are strong willed and very independant. both..somehow...at some point of the conversation, told me, should their other half cheated on her or hv unhappy marriage, they still can survive because of the skills they have. massage lady said "a woman cannot be without skill" i guess that applies to everybody...and of course...that makes me think...till today...what skill do i have and want to develop. not because am fearful of what will happen to my marriage in future...but simply...it's important to have skill.

3 ladies i see...
cleaning aunty - $11/hour
massage lady - 55/hr
facial lady - $60/hr

the one with most physical draining work earn the least...but somehow that makes me appreciate my cleaning lady even more.

i have my challenge now. nathan, our precious middle child starts to exhibit what I suspected is the 'middle child syndrome'...causing troubles, get very emotional with little things. Ian's work took up most of my time in coaching him and I have to make super extra effort not to neglect nathan. Jon is ok coz he divert his attention seeking to his grandma.

Coping and adjusting. God is good.

Will update more soon.

Can't remember when is the last time my boys do painting. My
boys have been requesting but I kept delaying it.
They absolutely enjoying this art moment, am using the mahjong paper, let them draw freely.

Looking at what nathan is doing now, better give only black color. The way he mixes all the colors will ended up black. I guess i know why I didn't do for so long.
Anyway, thank goodness the colors are washable.

Birth Story #4

The timing of each contraction and words below are recorded on that night.

I was woken up by urge to urine and unusual strong contraction. Because of many false alarms, I told God to let the water bag burst as an indication for me to go to hospital. My water bag didn't burst. I got on off tinge of blood stain instead, wasn't convinced coz I have experienced blood stain in my 1st pregnancy and Ian was born 2 weeks after that incident. That 1-night stay in hospital was wasted.

134am - blood stain
136am
139am
146
154
158
204
208
212 light contraction
215
220
223 feel like ps. ***oops, pardon me, that feeling really feel like passing motion***
229 strong

The past 1-hour, I went to toilet every 1-2 contraction. Each time have urine and on off blood stain. When I go back to my bed, I couldn't sleep as the contraction making it impossible for me to fall back to sleep.

I started to get change after one hour, just in case. Tried to wake jem up, but he was sound asleep so I thought maybe just continue to monitor.

233am
238am
242am
248am

By this time, no more blood stain but still I decided to wake jem up and told him what happened. Still unsure whether I'm in labor. He fall back to sleep :p

3am
310am
318am

Contraction gets intense and I see blood stain again and urge to push again....woke jem up
"Get me to the hospital now!!!"

He called his mom to come down to take care of the boys.
I have to walk very slowly to the car, I have to stop walking in each contraction.

337 in e car
341 intense urge to push
343 intense
347

Think we reach Thomson around 350am. Parked and still have to walk quite a fair bit to the hospital entrance. I had 3 very intense contraction. I remembered telling God as I walked towards the entrance.

"God, wait ok, let me walk to the hospital"
Once I reached the labor ward, the next contraction makes me squat down. Thankful for Jem to hold me tight (or am i squeezing his hand till almost break??)
I was then wheeled to the labor room. The first thing I told the nurse was I wanted to push.

My eyes were closed tightly throughout.
All I heard is
"breathe! Take a deep breathe!" (I still breathe quickly)
"put your legs down, straighten your legs" (was lying on the bed with both knee bent, my natural instinct at that moment is knee bent, the urge to push was so strong, I just couldn't put my legs down. But by doing so, will cause baby comes out sooner)
"she's not cooperating, give her the gas! Inject xxx (can't remember the name of the medicine/steroid) in the gas!". ****naughty me, don't listen to nurse advice :p****
I cried "I want to push!!!"
"you can't push now, it's not good for the baby"

"God, where are You?" that was what I cried out (in my heart) when I wanted to push the baby out so so much but was refrained from doing so coz was 8cm dilated only. Crying out to Him to make me dilate fully quickly.

After taking many deep breathe from the gas, I started to fall into semi-consciousness. I can still hear conversation, I started to relax when contraction went off, I'm not so tense anymore.

As I type this, I think everybody must have been tried hard to pin me down...hum...only jem knows.

Till now I still wonder (will never know), is it really that I'm 8cm dilated or maybe am already fully dilated but they are trying hard to wait for my gynae to come. I remember them saying "call the gynae to hurry up!"
The next contractions, I really cannot liao...
"I have to deliver her" said the nurse/midwife.
2 pushes, Hannah's out @ 0409.

My gynae just in time to cut the cord and deliver my placenta :p

Must thank God for answering my prayers.
1) perfect timing
All my boys were sleeping soundly...it's midnight. No traffic!

2) reach hospital in time
Actually I prayed that I will have enough time to just lie down there in hospital and wait for the urge to push to come. That's what happened when I was abt to give birth to Jonathan (#3) Very steady that time! But this time, I delayed too long, and really I know God is in control, I could have given birth in the car!!!

3) no tear
Because of that, I only stay 2 days in hospital. When gynae visited me the next day and told me "you can be discharged today!" I was like huhhhhh, so fast!

4) Painless delivery
Praise God!!! I really have no pain in each contraction (I don't have the kind of pain I had before giving birth to ian (#1) 那个真要命). Just very very intense feeling only. The greatest discomfort is the urge to push only. Want to push but can't. Looking back at the timing. Everything just happened very fast. Not to me though, I felt very long esp the moments when I wasn't allowed to push :p. But once I'm allowed, Hannah was the fastest to come out. 2 pushes. Jon was 5 pushes I think.

Thank God for smooth delivery at the place and perfect timing

Guilty

It's August...the day is nigh. Maybe anytime? I dont know. But I think I want to share something.

When I found out I'm pregnant - i gotta admit that am not as joyous as i supposed to be...coz planned to stop at 3.

When I found out is a girl - straightaway I thought "aiyah, cannot reuse the clothes". Having so used to taking care of boys, am actually don't mind if is a boy. So am I favor for another boy? Maybe...coz of familiarity.

When about to due - thinking to start all the night shifts, am not very excited abt it.

As I have mentioned in my previous entry, people around me are more excited than me. They are happier, think the family is finally complete when balanced with a girl. These people are truly happy for us.

Just last week only, one of the mommies asked me "are you excited to see your baby soon?" Expecting an excited answer....I remained quiet and 勉强smile.

Am guilty. Always feeling guilty of having this kind of feeling.

Of course, am not saying I don't love this baby. She's my flesh and blood, how could I not love her? I always thank God that she moves, every routine checkup shows that she's growing well and healthy, at least I know she's doing fine. I would rather to have her than to lose her....one of jem's ex-colleague's wife got a stillborn, it's devastating and what's more she's very close to full term. I learnt I shouldn't take advantage of every stage of pregnancy....unexpected things can happen even at the last stage so I pray more for this girl than my boys....I seem to have more worries than my previous 3.

I always plead for God's mercy...
"You gave me tis extra gift, please make it easy for me. I failed You again for getting angry easily. I really hope she's the gentle type (oh God, she has 'wonderful' influence from 3 kor kors) , easy-going type, easy to take care and not short tempered."
I'm at my wits end,,,,I aware that my temper can affect my baby. If I'm always scream and get angry easily, baby will be so. I tried....tried to be cool...and I failed and keep on failing till now...my temper is no where close to gentle and patient, but get worsen instead. Whenever my sis called me, all she can hear me is scolding the boys..."哇,咁惡死" she said.

I always thought that a gift is always good....but my friend shared that the gift that God gives doesn't always mean will be easy....it could be something more painful to learn but ultimately still mold our character.
I still pray that Hannah is really the easy going type, gentle and good tempered...if she really like this, I know for sure is God's mercy. If she's like me (again, all the bad stuff)...then I will still thank God, I know at least I've asked...if He feels I gotta face the consequences of not controlling my temper...I still love my Jesus, haha! Only need to drink more tea to chit chat with Him...

I just imagine...when I see her one day, all the negatives thought will fade away...I pray that God will heal if I cause her to feel unwanted throughout my pregnancy. I just know i love her as much as her brothers. I count my blessings...though I have to wake up many times at night, I have no problem falling asleep easily.

Good night...zzz

My Sew Mate

Whenever my boys sleep, this is what I've been looking forward to. I have never never never expected to have a new interest. It's all started from a friend's blog. She made her own pouch sling, nursing cover, baby blocks to herself and her son, eventually to her friends and now she's selling them....suddenly I started to have interest (not selling part). I started to read up blogs, online tutorials, youtube on how to make certain things. And because there are so many sewing jargons, I read one tutorial many times till I fall asleep sometimes. Still, am happy and excited :D

I made myself very busy in this pregnancy. I feel I want to do as many things I like to do...(or CAN do) before Hannah's arrival. I've been telling people around me, I want to do as much as i can before I go to 'jail' (not very nice term I know)....meaning...that one month confinement. If only my firstborn, maybe i don't feel that way, but this is my 4th, life still goes on after I gave birth, though my mom in law will take leave but i don't expect her to take one month leave or passed the 3 kiddos to 80++ year old grand in laws to take care whole day for whole month??? I still gotta wake up early to prepare Ian and Nathan to school, Jon is still with me. Life as usual when they are back from school, bathe, eat, doing homework...and not forgetting scolding and frustration in between. I normally go out to take a breather and that one month I can't...

My family (in laws) and jem not quite agreed with me signing up to patchwork class. It's a 6-lessons once a week class. Am actually taking a risk, coz this course will only be completed in mid of august and I might be in labor anytime from August onwards (that's just my guess, my edd is 5 sept). Am out from 1pm till 10pm++ every Saturday. Patchwork lesson starts from 2-4pm then go home prepare for church service at night. Bring 1-2 older boys with me to lighten in laws load. I always leave Jon with in laws every saturday. Came home totally exhausted. Jem always concerned that I'm overexert myself and took my last trimester too lightly, meaning, almost due but walk so much and do so any things. Example: i was having a regular contraction, 3-4 mins interval for about 1.5 hrs 2-3 weeks ago. Gynae once advised me that if i have regular contraction for half an hour, better go to hospital for a check, if need to, give a jab to delay labor. But we were on the way to see magic show at esplanade. Was trying to hide from jem coz I really don't want to turn around and go home :p....till he saw me keep pressing something on my phone (was monitoring my contraction, so kept updating the timing throughout the journey).

Maybe out of desperation, I won't be that mobile when I hv 4 kiddos. There's always this 'conflict' between me and jem. He's out to work whole week and doesn't mind to stay at home. So he will never see any problem staying whole month at home, he can play football manager peacefully unless I get the boys to call their father to do something for them. For me, if my children are obedient and dont drive me mad, maybe I also don't mind to stay at home. They don't, so I need to take a breather.

Back to sewing, my new favorite place is heading to Spotlight and hopefully can venture out to other fabric stores...love to see the fabrics.

Having said that, so far I like to sew baby related stuff, patchwork, bags...think accessories related? That doesn't include fixing socks hole, boys' torn shorts and shirt. jem has 9 socks waited to be sewn, he wanted ah po to sew for him but i thought I should take over, but that remained on my table for at least a week....

35 weeks and 3 days.
Time flies...Hannah, see you soon.

Am a sinner

When my boys show no response when someone talks to them
"Why your son don't listen, cannot like that you know you better teach them"

When there's a new injury shown on any part of the body, esp the head
"ohhhh, so poor thing! WHY you NEVER watch him, the head is very important"

When they are growing thinner
"You NEVER cook for them or give them food huh"

When one of them doesn't eat fruit
"You didn't let him eat huh, must let him try EVERYDAY"

When the boy misbehave in school
"You didn't talk and teach them huh"

When all things go wrong.
Where does the fingers point to?
It's ME ok.
Don't tell me stay at home mum is 好命, no need to work is 太太lifestyle.
Just to prepare a meal....you think cook can already huh?
No need to think what to cook?
No need to walk to market?
No need to cut the ingredients?
No need to handle fights, argument or ACCIDENTS in between?
No need to clean up the mess before and after meal?
No need to wash dishes after that?
No need to clean the kitchen?
And with children, do you think clean once a day is enough? There's always dirt appear out of nowhere, if don't clean....you know what i get?

"why never clean the table?"
"why is the floor dirty?"
"never teach your children to keep their toys huh"

When i do, nobody sees
When i don't do, just for that particular moment, always get caught and was assume I hv not been doing it (this is what I called 'swaeee'/倒霉)
When I punish, was told too harsh, don't punish, was told never teach them, too bo chap.

Jeremy is very good boy when he's young. Can't be from him.
Ohhhhhh, all the faults, come to me, baby!

Come Jesus...come and join me...
oh wait! You did no wrong and yet You bear all human kind's sins.
I'm different! It's my fault, am lousy, inconsiderate, bad temper, double standard, bochap and therefore I deserve it!!!

Never mind...
let's have tea.

Like father like sons

Most people said Nathan looks like me. But his cheeky side is definitely from his dad.

Very studious looking boy huh. He's the only one reading (or simply flipping) through the bible stories last night. Also from his dad, always look very studious.

Ian gets everyone in the family to sit and watch him playing piano one night. Didn't show you the family side as some of them are half naked. The leadership and commanding style, also from his dad.

Am back

Am back but still may not update that often.

My aversion to technology seems to 'die down' a lot for the past 1 month, still have that 反感 kind of feeling but not as bad as last time anymore. jem was hoping that my aversion will be back again coz I started to fight over the same thing with him iPad.

Let me summarize what has been happening for the past few months.
When my neighbors or anyone found out that I'm pregnant,
This is their expression

When they found out is a SHE, 2 expressions I got

Phewwwwwww

And of course, always end with a very happy, very relieved and congratulate look...

An insurance agent I met 3 days ago said this
"at least it worth the pregnancy"

Uhmmmm....I've been wondering, is it really that bad if I have another boy.
Anyways, God decided to give us a girl, so I guess should receive all the joy and excitement with gladness.

Ian likes the name 'Hannah', he got very upset when I suggest other names. Not many people like this name though, that includes my mom in law, but because jem made a statement last night, when ian spoke loudly that he likes the name 'Hannah', i turned around looking at jem, he said something like this
"Hannah, Hannah loh"
"I thought you prefer the name 'Sarah'?" I asked
"I listen to my children." He said

So during the bedtime routine, Ian proudly said "mommy, grandma doesn't like Hannah, but daddy said he listens to his children" with a victory look.

Still deciding Chinese name, we have shortlisted 2-3, then someone took one of my preferred names and went to ask the 算命佬,then came the 'wonderful' result, saying my daughter gonna have 2 marriages if she were to use that name. I don't know how you feel, for me, I really thank God I belong to the kingdom of God, coz He won't put this kind of fear into ones heart. Ngiao! By calculating a name can determine ones future!!! I understand the importance of naming, even God also name some people in the bible, e.g. Saul to Paul, Jacob to Israel, Jesus, but the source is from God Himself!!!

So long as I don't name my kids like
Liang Meilu or Liang SouShi (geeeee.....wait....who knows they might say it's good to name them this, they might be blessed with free milos and sushi for life)

Gotta clean up for cell group tonight, home....messy.

don't impress/show me your latest electronic gadgets, like hp, computer products, tv, mp3, all the 'i's...etc...am not going to want to look at it.

sounds familiar yah, it's the same as my #3 pregnancy. even when i'm updating this blog, actually is after much 'struggle'...i do feel sick even just thinking and looking at it. and yes, my ipad too. i seldom use now and am not going to sell to you. my boys want it...

that's all folks. i'll still try to update my blog as often as i can...try to.

new discomfort in this pregnancy?
- heartburn

new low morale things to think abt is...am only in my 8 weeks pregnancy...all my button type pants/shorts/jeans already feel tight and cannot breathe liao.

happy things to think about...in this pregnancy....no aversion of food...just need to eat a bit at a time...

#4

eh? How come the line comes out so fast....(thinking in my heart)
Huhhhhhhh? 2nd line......very light one...
Holding in disbelief, kept looking at it....getting clearer and clearer.
Oh my.......no...no...nonononono!!!!
Quickly look at the info.... 2 lines...means...
"oh God, no, Jesus ah!!! Aiiiiiiiiyaaaaahhhhh!! Oh God oh God!!!

EDD: 5 September 2011

You know what is it? Mommies out there! You should know!!

SURPRISE!

this time totally caught me off guard. Yes, God bless us with baby #4. We have announced to everybody we're stopping at 3, and we are very very very serious about it. we always looking forward to have our couple times once again when the boys are big enough. So can you imagine when the test kit showed 2 lines, and that freaked me out and keep saying 'oh God, how?' throughout the day and i fall sick the very second after i saw that 2 lines.

But since I'm trying out test kit, that shouldn't shock me yeah. Not true. Last time, I want 3 kiddos, so whether he comes too early or later...I expected it. But this time, I haven't think that far....i never think 'what if', coz I'll straight away cut myself, saying, no way!!! I test just to remove all the suspicion I have about getting pregnant whenever I'm not well, and found some symptoms quite similar to pregnancy.

So what are the symptoms
- feeling giddy
- mild nausea
- suddenly my pants get quite tight
- feel like want to poo poo almost everyday (normally I don't hv this urge)
- tired easily (normally I'm still alert even after midnight)
- shooting pain in my breast almost daily (this is something new, coz it never occurred in my previous 3 pregnancy)

Common curious question comes....and let me answer you right here and please don't ask again if you have already read this entry.

"did you do any precaution?"

the answer is "No, and therefore that gave God an opportunity to fulfill His desire. Be fruitful and multiply and continue to mold my character. He feels that 3 is not enough to mold my bad temper, need 4.

naturally, we got answers like
"why not careful?"
"no wonder"

Next question is, why didn't you ligate or do IUD sooner?
i was advised to wait for my period to come then can do IUD. apparently, when the 1st ovulation comes back, the wall of jericho has already been torn down and the promised land is claimed. i got pregnated before my first period is back, in other words.

I discovered this on 11 Jan (Tuesday), jem was out of town in Bangkok till thursday midnight and again off to kluang on Friday morning. only told him the news when he's back on Friday night. So from the day till I break the news to him, I kept thinking

how to tell jem?
what would his response be? he played diablo till late night to destress..
What happen if he is very burden after hearing it, what would my response be?
Have to continue the interrupted sleeps for another 2 years....again?
How to go out?????
how to leave ah gong ah po to take care of 4? So that I can have 1-2 hours break to restore my sanity?
My mom in law's favourite "Maid" topic will be revived with greater strength! this time she said it with great confidence, it's a MUST

I bought another pregnancy kit with the conception indicator on the same day after i found out i'm pregnant.
It showed 'Pregnant 3+', meaning I conceived more than 3 weeks ago. So what?? December? Or november.... I made gynae appointment on the 21 Jan.....trying to drag as long as I could wait to find out baby's EDD. Don't want to go there and see only a black hole with no baby heartbeat yet....but each day...I was so so so ganjiong, wondering whether to bring the appointment forward so that I can see baby quickly. thank God...baby is in 7 weeks and 5 days now...saw heartbeat and it's normal.

Whether we are ready or not. That's God blessing for us. Humanly speaking, I'm still struggling to sink in the reality, the financial burden jem has to bear, having to start all over again...etc. i dont want to make baby feels he/she is not welcome or feel unwanted at the same time, having to manage my feeling and baby's feeling is really a test at this point of time. but we definitely welcome this baby.

Jem was not the first person to know the news. I was very very panic those few days when he's not around. I told my friends. And here's her SMS that comforted me.

'it's God's blessing! Congrads! Humanly, we hv a lot of reservation but God has a plan to prosper us and not to harm us.it may take a while to sink in. God will bring you and your hubby to a point of acceptance and joy in His time. Children are a reward from God

4 children.....i cannot imagine....the Lord gives, He will provide.

do pray for us...

Trip to hometown

"I'm sorry, I can't check-in your son, his passport is expiring in less than 6 months, even if we let you thru, kl immigration will not allowed. we have many cases like this this morning"

I was in total shock. His passport is expiring in June 2011, what's wrong with that?!!!

Then i heard ...."everybody knows about this rule, how come you don't know?" I was....like....what? I don't know!! I really don't know! You mean....I deliberately do that so that we cannot fly? Wow! Very fun!

It was a joyous occasion, in laws took leave, ah po came along to send us off, the boys were all excited, we intended to hv breakfast in the terminal after checking in, then sit sky train, off we go to tawau.

Instead, we were advised to make an emergency passport in ICA. We're checking in at 10++am, flight is 12:10pm....Jem knew we gonna missed the flight. Very calm and also very prepared to miss even the entire trip. Father in law drove us to ICA, because it was lunch hour, the whole process took abt 3 hours. Mother in law helped to take care the boys, bought food to keep them occupied.

We went back to airport...we queued up the air Asia sales counter at least 4-5 times...we discussed after each enquiry and by the time we decided, either the flight is full or the price is too high...to the point...is it worth it to go back...or...better off to miss this trip, save the money for next trip. I called my parents to tell them we have to miss the trip coz of the fare. Then I cried halfway thru the conversation, it was then I realized how much i don't want to miss the trip, esp. my brother's wedding. my mom in law kept telling jem to go ahead despite the fare...and finally jem changed his mind, started to make arrangement for transport and hotel stay in KL

We missed the SIN-KL flight as well as the connecting flight from KL-TWU. In the end, we took the later flight to KL and stay overnight there. We have to pay another S$324+ for the fare. Then we got the quotation to pay another S$870 for KL-TWU for the next day flight, but we can only buy the tickets when we reach KL, Singapore sales counter can't do for us. Think because the sales counter lady saw I cried, she helped to put some remarks to the malaysia sales counter, to treat as exceptional case. So which means what? We are risking ourselves to fly to KL. Not knowing whether there's any seat left by the time we get there.

Instead of reaching tawau at 625pm, we flew from Singapore at 6++pm. Then there's another round of frustrating moment and later....God's help too.
We headed straight to the sales counter after collecting our luggages. We were quoted RM$3502 (that's double the quoted price) Jem kept telling the sales person abt the remarks n refused to give in. In the end, he was referred to another counter...I pushed the boys ard the airport while jem was busy with all the admin stuff.

Finally, saw jem left the counter, we headed straight to the carpark....jem told me he only needed to pay abt RM$350, that was only 10% of the fare!!!
Left airport at 9+++pm, reached hotel at abt 11pm (1hr drive).

Boys were happy to stay in hotel. Ordered fish and chips for supper. Woke up at 5am the next morning, to catch the 715am flight to tawau.

Am thankful for in laws. They were supportive throughout the running in and out of airport. They didn't grumble even a bit, helped taking care of our kids for whole day. Of course, our boys were very naughty, many times made jem very angry and frustrated. Me, causing behind all these troubles have to keep quiet and preventing the boys from making him angry as best as I can.

It's a trip...we will never forget and a very pricey lesson for me.
