china boy

jem, joyce & myself are still getting used to ian's new hairstyle...uhmm...we concluded ian looks better when his hair is longer. now joyce said ian looks like a china boy :P haha, but still very cute and handsome. father n son are the same, not very suitable for too short hair!

ian's solid food journey going on pretty well. everybody in the household very eager to let him eat solid food. but there are times ian simply don't want to eat...so i attempted to eat as though very very yummy, so that he would want to eat again, "uhmmm, ian!!!! look!!! so yummy, uhmm...yum yum yum"...ian not very impressed, continue to bite hankie or look down or elsewhere. so who will finish all his food??? who else?? momma cozai!!! :D let me tell u what are his yummy food, i don't mind eating his food, coz it's really not bad! mostly steamed & mashed
  • potato, sweet potato
  • carrot
  • spinach
  • egg yolk (he doesn't like)
  • apple, pears, papaya, banana, orange
  • ikan kurau
  • plain porridge
  • white bread
  • rice cereal, banana breakfast cereal
i attended this la leche league mothers group yesterday...breastfeeding mommies getting together to share experiences & encourage one another. i enjoyed this kind of session though, talking to ppl & out of home. brought koala bear, ian along with me, this boy makes the most noise and move non-stop throughout. i could hardly sit still. one mommy shared her decision to wean her boy during her 2nd complicated pregnancy till she cried...i can empathize how painful the decision she has to make, coz i cannot imagine ian no longer need nursing. i really really really enjoy my nursing moment with him! you know, just me & him, we look at each other, watching him falling asleep, and of course, i still enjoy his naughty octopus hand! always wanted to touch whatever things i touch, esp when i'm drinking water.

ian! daddy & mommy love you heaps!
